Hand-painted retail signage for in-store wine pairings, recycled materials throughout.
This in-store retail display translated wine pairing information into something quick to scan and warm enough to stop a shopper mid-aisle. Red and white pairing charts gave customers a visual path from bottle to dinner table.
The build leaned into the practical language of a sign-painter's bench: recycled cardboard, chalk spray paint, posca paint markers, and laminated illustrated drawings of wine glasses. The result was informative without feeling sterile.
The charts were organized around everyday shopping behavior: make the answer visible, then let the hand-painted surface add personality.
Red and white pairings were treated as information design first — with enough warmth to feel at home in a grocery aisle.
