About
Hi, I'm Brooke.
Background
I'm a multi-talented artist and designer from the Fairfax area, with a BFA in Graphic Design from George Mason University and Bear Water Branding LLC based in Fairfax, Virginia. My work is built for the places people actually see it: the things that hang on the wall, sit on the shelf, or stop someone on the sidewalk.
My day job is sign painting at Trader Joe's, making boards, displays, and store signage that customers walk past every week. That keeps my work practical: it has to read fast, hold up in a busy space, and still feel like a person made it.
I work hands-on with recycled cardboard, mirror, posca markers, foam-core, paint, and digital tools, while continuing to explore painting, sculpture, video, and digital work. The focus here is brand identity, signage, packaging, videography, and photography for businesses, weddings, and events that want to be remembered.

Sustainable materials when the brief allows.
Recycled cardboard, water-based paints, posca markers. I'll tell you when a sustainable option costs more and let you decide.
