Bear Water Branding &
Creative Director Statement
At Bear Water Branding, my creative practice is rooted in experimentation, storytelling, and emotional depth. As an artist and brand designer, I draw inspiration from a wide range of materials, mediums, and lived experiences, believing that the most meaningful work comes from authenticity and intention. Design, much like art, is a powerful tool for translating identity into something visible, tangible, and resonant.
My work is deeply influenced by personal experiences that have shaped who I am, including moments of loss, growth, and transformation. Creating has always been a way for me to process complex emotions and give form to ideas that might otherwise remain unseen. This perspective informs how I approach branding—helping individuals and businesses articulate their stories, values, and evolution through thoughtful visual design.
I find inspiration in artists such as Frida Kahlo and Vincent van Gogh, whose ability to transform personal struggle into enduring, impactful work reflects the resilience and vulnerability I strive to bring into my own creative process. At Bear Water Branding, I approach each project with the belief that strong branding is not just aesthetic, but emotional and intentional.
Art-making and brand-building are ongoing journeys of discovery. I see every experience as a potential source of inspiration and aim to channel that energy into designs that feel honest, connected, and alive. Whether working with repurposed materials in sculptural art or crafting visual identities for brands, my work often explores themes of transformation, sustainability, and growth; mirroring both human relationships and the evolving nature of brands themselves.
Through Bear Water Branding, my goal is to create work that fosters connection, tells meaningful stories, and supports growth; both creatively and authentically.

DISTORTED INTRUSIONS – 2025
Explores the dark reality of exploitation of women through AI-generated deepfake pornography. I’ve created three life-sized sculptures of sexualized female forms using upcycled materials including plastic bottles, wood, and molded fiber, amongst others. These figures symbolize how AI distorts and commodifies women’s bodies without their consent. Statements are written in red (victims) and blue (exploiters) from the Victims and Exploiters perspectives–echoing the emotional chaos this causes. Displayed on insulation foam portraying a phone screen, the installation also includes audio in AI voices of the phrases displayed on the sculptures and a viewing station with colored filters. My goal is to raise awareness and advocate for legal protection against this growing digital threat.
IDENTITY - 2019
This series of photographs was created for my art show booth. Each image serves as a deeply personal reflection on the theme of identity, exploring the challenges I encountered throughout high school while navigating the journey of self-discovery, grief, and interpersonal relationships. These works are not just a visual expression but a vulnerable exploration of the emotional and transformative experiences that shaped me into the person I am today. Through this series, I aimed to capture my experiences and portray them to my audience in a visually creative way.
